Powder coating for pyramidAugust 2011 – A former dentist's practice in Neede has made way for a newbuild structure. The new building is in the shape of a molar. Because natural light is beneficial to a dentist's work and also puts the patients at ease, a pyramid-shaped skylight has been added. Poedercoating Hoogeveen powder coated the aluminium profiles for the glass skylight. Janssen en Linssen's former dental practice in Neede was razed to the ground to make way for the new structure. After 24 years, the old building was no longer suitable for today's requirements and the new building was more than necessary. The new building, designed by Raaklein Architectuur, is shaped like a molar tooth. It will house seven treatment rooms, a room for dental implants, a surgical department and a room for making 3D x-rays. Natural light and fresh air are essential for a healthy indoor climate. The pyramid-shaped skylight, made by Hakvoort Daglicht of Dedemsevaart ensures that all rooms have sufficient natural light. Natural light is beneficial to a dentist's work and puts all those who work in the building and the dentists' patients at ease. The aluminium profiles of the glass skylight were powder coated by Poedercoating Hoogeveen and are the perfect match for the modern design of the building. |
